Axe the DIY Tax

Despite promising to scrap Labour's tax on brown bins, the Conservatives have instead raised them after a near-maximum Council Tax increase.

Adding insult to injury, the Conservatives have introduced more levies, including a DIY tax. Families are now facing additional fees when hiring a skip to improve their homes. The Liberal Democrats argue that this tax burden is unfair and puts unnecessary financial strain on households.
